Hotel embarcadero: This seaside hotel is located in a 20th century manor house. A historic building of neo-Basque style, which is located in the “Paseo de las Grandes Villas”. Where to park in Getxo.
The town of Getxo has OTA service (Traffic and Parking Ordinance), also known as Regulated Parking Service (SER). You should know that in the delimited zones (Zone 1- Algorta, Zone 2 Las Arenas) parking will be controlled from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 (except August) and on Saturdays from 9:30 to 14:00. Special mention should be made of the month of August, when the schedule changes and there is only OTA service from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 to 14:00. If you plan to park your vehicle in Getxo, you should know that you can also use the Manuel Gainza and Saba Las Arenas parking lots. 
How to get to Getxo.
Getxo is one of the Basque towns with the best access. And the fact is that this urban center located on the shores of the Bay of Abra, offers us all kinds of means to reach our destination quickly and comfortably. In this sense, we have compiled all the transports that you can use.
- Public transportAlthough the Metro Bilbao represents one of the most demanded public transport to get to Getxo, it is not the only one. The bus (Bizkaibus) and the Bizkaia Bridge are, together with the metro, some of the most important public transport in the town.
- Private transportationGetxo’s strategic location in the Abra Bay means that visitors arrive both by land and by sea. And thanks to the complete maritime facilities that we find both in the El Abra-Getxo Marina and in the Getxo cruise pier, more and more people are arriving in Getxo by boat. If you have chosen to arrive by land, we recommend you to use the Txorierri Corridor (N-637) and the advanced road (BI-637) to arrive from Bilbao.
