Although its characteristics encourage us to catalog it as a family route, we must remember that in this route there are large slopes and waterfalls. Be very careful. Especially with the smallest of the house.
Route to the waterfalls of Corraladas.
Although you can also reach the waterfalls of Corraladas from the town of Beluntza, our recommendation is to do it from the port of Altube. We detail the route. After parking our vehicle next to the road, we follow the forest track towards Izarra.
In 300 meters we find a cattle fence. We pass the fence and follow the path until we enter the forest. We begin to descend.
At about 280 meters we reach a clearing in the forest where we find signs for the GR282 route (red and white) that make us turn off to the right. From this point, the path takes us directly to the Corraladas stream and the AP68 freeway.
After passing under the highway, we find a new fork. This time we turn right. From this point we find an idyllic landscape, incredible. Also a greater slope. Be careful with slips, especially in the rainy season.
There are 2 spaces from where to enjoy this incredible waterfall, from its upper and lower part. To contemplate the upper part, we must turn to the right while to enjoy the lower section we must follow the path. The 2 spaces are incredible, which of the 2 options do you choose?

Where to park.
In the port of Altube, next to the A624 road, there is a conditioned space to leave our car. It is a small parking lot (less than 10 cars), which we find on the road itself, on the left hand side if we travel in the direction of Bilbao from Vitoria Gasteiz. You can consult it here.

- There are steep sections near the waterfalls, it can be dangerous, especially during the rainy season. Be careful.
- It is very important to wear hiking shoes and trekking poles.
- During the route there are loose animals (bulls, cows, horses…), be careful.

- The parking lot fills up easily, we recommend you to get up early.
