You can now upload your photos on our website, and be eligible for great annual gifts.

If you are a photography lover and you have just been or are in the Basque Country, we give you the opportunity to win great prizes by uploading your photos of the Basque Country to our website and participating in our photo contest. All you have to do is register and upload your photos at www.turismovasco.com/fotos.

You can upload your photos to 4 categories:

–Urban: In this category you can upload all the photos taken in towns and cities throughout the Basque Country (including Navarre and the French Basque Country), if you are in a Basque town or city, do not hesitate, take out your phone and start taking pictures around you, surely some of them capture the character of Basque cities and help you to be one of the winners.

–Landscapes: The Basque Country has countless landscapes to photograph and this will be the category where we will catalog all of them. Whether inland or coastal we will love to see the point of view from which our users see the Basque Country.

–Flora and fauna: Euskadi has a lot of fauna and flora, our forests are full of life as well as our seas, immerse yourself in them and get the best photo of the Basque Country.

-Culture and Tradition: This section is the widest of all, in it we will be able to find everything related to the culture and tradition of the Basque Country.

Annually the most voted photo will be awarded with a gift related to the Basque Country, you can win a hotel night in the Basque Country, tickets for Basque events, Basque products …. and much more! Here are the rules of the annual photo contest of the Basque Country.

RULES OF THE BASQUE COUNTRY PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

1. The theme of this contest is “The Basque Country”. The shots must be specific to the Basque Autonomous Community, Navarre or the French Basque Country.
2. The photo contest is open to professional and amateur photographers, of any nationality and over 18 years of age.
3. In order to participate in the contest, photos must be uploaded to our “photos of the Basque Country ” section www.turismovasco.com/fotos photos uploaded to Twitter or Facebook will not be eligible for any prize.
4. Shots that could be interpreted (in our judgment) as advertising will not be accepted.
5. www.turismovasco.com keeps the option to remove from the contest those photos voted by incentives, either in forums or elsewhere.
6. The jury will be all the users who visit our website and vote for your photos.
7. Voting will end on December 12 of each year, the photos eligible for the annual award must be uploaded within the same period (from January 1 of the same year until December 31 of the same year).
8. All photos uploaded to our website will become part of www.turismovasco.com giving us your consent to use them on our website.
9. www.turismovasco.com reserves the right to remove photos that are not suitable for all audiences.
10. More than 20 candidates must participate for the contest to be valid.

    The prize of the Photographic Contest of the Basque Country 2014 will be a hotel night.
