Are you going to do tourism in the Basque Country and you don’t know the most popular festivals?
The Basques are people of great tradition, and every year they celebrate with the same strength or more the festivities of their localities. This is why the Basque festivities are among the most visited in Spain.
1.- Festivities of Vitoria
In Vitoria we can distinguish two very important dates on the one hand the Day of the Blouse, July 25, and on the other hand the White Virgin, from August 4 to 9 (Festival par excellence of Vitoria).
2.-Festivities of Bilbao:
In Bilbao the Basque festivities can be translated into the best known, the most popular, the big week of Bilbao annually for 9 days from the Saturday after August 15 and on the other hand Santo Tomas, December 21, the latter party is not only of this town but it can be said that if it is the one that brings together more people.
3.-Festivitiesof San Sebastian:
In San Sebastian we have the Tamborrada, January 20, a very traditional festival with a large following, and on the other hand the big week of San Sebastian, the week of August 15.
4.-Festivities of Navarre:
