Thousands of people visit the hotels near the BEC every year.
The BEC (Bilbao Exhibition Center) receives thousands of visitors every month from all over the world due to the great variety of activities and different events held there. We must take into account that the vast majority of these visitors have a common denominator, they want hotels near the BEC for greater comfort and not to waste their valuable time.
Do you want to know which hotels near the BEC we recommend?
1.-Novotel Bilbao Exhibition Center: Undoubtedly the best hotel and closest to the BEC, just 3 minutes walk, this modern hotel with swimming pool is located less than 1 km from the BEC. It lacks practically nothing and is in a quite good location, 10 minutes by car from the center of Bilbao and 700 meters from the Ansio metro station. In addition to the above mentioned we have two shopping centers such as Max center and megapark less than 5 minutes away.
2.-Pension Zeus: Without going far from the BEC and practically at the same distance as the previous hotel, just 800 meters from the exhibition hall is the Pension Zeus. We could say that this hotel is also among the 5 closest hotels to the BEC. It is a somewhat more affordable hotel than the previous one considering its simplicity, but it is still good due to the area in which it is located. At 50 meters we have the Cruces subway which in just 10 minutes will take us to the center of Bilbao.
3.- Pensión Don Claudio: This other pension is a little further away from the BEC, but taking into account that it is 2 km away and that the prices are not very far either, it could be another of our options. It is further away than other hotels but in its favor it is closer to the capital of Bizkaia. It is a more modern hotel than the previous one and therefore more practical.
4.- Hotel Artetxe: Moving away from the hotels near the BEC but without going far from the capital, just 3 kilometers from the center of Bilbao, we will find a hotel with more charm and tranquility, it is a Basque farmhouse converted into a rural hotel. Located at the top of the mountain we can enjoy both the views of the city and the views of the coast.
NH Deusto: Finally, if what we are looking for is something more central without going too far from the BEC, 4.3 km away we find the NH Deusto hotel. An elegant and classy hotel located 500 meters from the Iberdrola Tower, the Euskalduna Palace and the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao. Almost in the center of Bilbao and surrounded by bus, subway and streetcar stops, it perfectly combines what we are looking for, comfort.

After this, taking into account the different distances to the BEC and the different services offered by each of the hotels, it is up to you to decide which one to choose. If you are looking for much cheaper prices you also have the option of staying in a hostel in Bilbao.
