The coast of the Basque Country has the best beaches for surfing and here we comment some of them
Donostia: Zurriola beach usually hosts various surfing events and is a good option for the newly initiated surfer. The waves break both right and left and offers tubing sections where the surfer can enjoy this sport to the fullest. Being an urban beach and its easy access, from time to time the beach is usually crowded with surfers and complicates the practice of this sport.

Karramarro: Karramarro cove located between Getaria and Zarautz, does not have services on the beach but it is a good place for surfing as the 3 meter waves are left-handed and very constant. The access to the cove is not easy but if you are looking for tranquility and few people to relax, this is the place.
