Lamuza Park: Lamuza Park offers a number of spaces to enjoy. What was the estate of the Marquis of Urquijo, had a fronton, a pond, large gardens, a palace and a casino. Today, most of the buildings house the local Cultural Center.

Parish of San Pedro de Lamuza: This XI century temple located in the town hall square surprises us with its baroque altarpiece and its iron portico. We must emphasize the importance of the latter. And it is that, although we have porches of great interest as the one of Durango, it is the only one built with iron.

Market Square: The market square of Laudio, also known as the market square, was inaugurated in 1952. Formerly, in addition to the fixed stores that we find on the sides of the square, on Sundays, the baserritarras came to this place to sell their products. Nowadays, the market days in Laudio are Thursdays and Saturdays.

Sculptures: The town has several sculptures distributed among its streets and squares. The most important are those that pay homage to the amatxus (mothers in Basque), the baserritarras and the painter José Arrúe.

Town Hall: The town hall of Laudio Llodio, a semicircular building, creates one of the most important spaces in the town, the town hall square. It is here that some of the most important events of the year are held.

Zubiko Etxea: This 19th century building was renovated in 1920 and acquired by the town council in 1983. After using the building for all kinds of projects, in 1994, the Provincial Council of Araba and the town council decided to remodel the building to create the Basque Museum of Gastronomy. Unfortunately, this museum closed its doors permanently in 2013.

Katuxa Palace: Located in the Gardea neighborhood and declared a cultural asset by the Basque Government in 2005, this 18th century palace is one of the most outstanding architectural attractions in Laudio. A structure, which was built on the ruins of an old mill and forge.

History of Laudio Llodio.

Although we find documents from the tenth century that refer to the lands of present-day Laudio, we can say that it was in the eleventh century when the Lord of Bizkaia took over these lands. It was in this same century, when the neighborhoods of Larra, Goienuri, Larrazabal and Olarte were united under the church of San Pedro. After centuries of being governed by the laws and customs of Bizkaia, in the 17th century, the valley became part of the province of Araba.
