Flypark Bilbao gets a B in our particular test, we leave you our opinion.
Previously in TurismoVasco.com we mentioned the different low cost parking options that we can find at Bilbao airport and we also did an article about flypark (which for us is the best low cost parking at the moment). A few hours ago we just tried the gold service of flypark Bilbao (this service consists of picking up and dropping off the car at the airport without lifting a finger). In short, we can say that it is a good service and it will not be the last time we use it. Now, do you want to know more? read on!
We break down our experience with Flypark Bilbao into 2 parts: Arrival and departure from Bilbao airport.
Arrival: We had to call 10 minutes before to notify our arrival but as we had to fill the tank of the car we called about 10-15 minutes and told him where we were, in the first call we already saw the spirit of the service, friendly and open to all possibilities. We arrived at the departures area of the airport and started to unload the luggage (2 suitcases). When we finished unloading the last one, the Flypark representative was already in front of our vehicle, he introduced himself and began to take notes of the vehicle’s condition. We handed him the keys, signed for the car and left for boarding without any worries. We were struck by the speed of the delivery, it took less than 2 minutes, perfect!
Departure: The arrival flight to Bilbao airport was delayed for about 2 hours (we did not inform Flypark of this fact at any time). We called Flypark upon landing, they took note and informed us that they would try to arrive as soon as possible. Said and done, we exited the plane with our bags (we had not checked in), walked through the airport, went outside and set the stopwatch to check the efficiency of the service. 10 minutes and 33 seconds, that’s how long it took my car to be in front of me, there is room for improvement, yes, but we must take into account the 2 hour delay of our flight and the fact that we didn’t warn them. Undoubtedly a great experience, get off the plane and have the car clean at the airport door, a luxury.
The car was in a very dirty state, the objective was clear, to check FlyPark’s cleaning service. Below you can see the before and after of the rims, it is not a perfect cleaning but the rest of the car shined like the first day.
