A province of mountains and sea, Gipuzkoa awaits us with 31 sites full of charm.
Gipuzkoa is the smallest province of the Basque Country, but in its interior hides a great cultural, natural and architectural value. Its capital, Donostia-San Sebastián, is one of the most important tourist cities in the world, as witnessed by the various awards it holds. The 66 kilometers of coastline of Gipuzkoa and its green mountains generate incredible views to enjoy on our trip.
The 31 places of Gipuzkoa that we are going to mention are part of the adventure lived by Asier Galea, a young man based in Donostia who decided to visit for 31 days, 31 places in the province of Gipuzkoa. This photographic project took the name of Gipuzkoa31, clearly showing its two most important factors: the location of his trip, Gipuzkoa, and its duration, 31 days.
Surely on more than one occasion we have discussed with friends or family the fact that we go abroad in search of tourist paradises when we do not know the ones we have around us. This is the philosophy of this project, to show people through photographs, that it is not necessary to travel 20 hours to enjoy paradisiacal places.
Here are 31 places to visit in Gipuzkoa, worthy of admiration:
