Discover the real Karting in the temple of motor racing in Navarra.
The Navarra circuit, popularly known as the Los Arcos circuit or the circuit of the north, houses one of the most important motor racing venues in the north of the peninsula. Its facilities, designed to host major competitions, are used by motorsports enthusiasts on a daily basis, a fact that became very clear to us as soon as we arrived at the circuit. The large displacement engines roared as they passed through the finish line at the speed circuit while a group of friends enjoyed the karts under the watchful eye of a group of mechanics, undoubtedly an authentic speed circuit atmosphere.
Although the speed circuit of the Navarra circuit is tempting, on this occasion we only enjoyed its karting circuit, one of the best complexes of this specialty in which we have had the pleasure of racing.

Our experience in karting Navarra.
We went to Los Arcos as a group, 12 friends, 12 karts, a nice number to fight for the best position in each corner. We parked the cars next to the karting circuit, the space reserved for public parking, before the competition paddock, a space located between the speed circuit and the karting circuit where the noise of the engines welcomes us.
Circuit: Ups, downs, straights, curves, chicanes and all kinds of layouts complete the 731 meters of the Navarra Karting circuit, a very complete circuit where you can enjoy like children and race like adults. One of the best karting circuits we have enjoyed so far, 100% recommended.
Karts: They have 3 types of karts adapted to the experience and age of the driver.
Characteristics of the karts of the Navarra circuit:
- Fun Kid – Children from 7 to 13 years old (both inclusive):

- Anti-gas system (prevents the accelerator and brake from acting at the same time)
- RX7 – Adults:
- Chassis: Sodi
- Engine: Honda
- Displacement: 390cc, 13 hp
- Maximum speed: 85 km/h
- Adjustable seat and pedals
- Anti-gas system (prevents the accelerator and brake from acting at the same time)
- RX shock absorbing protection system
- RX 250 – Competition:
- Chassis: Sodi

For our event we used the RX7s for adults, which are the ones that all adults can drive without restrictions. The karts don’t look like much at first glance but their 85 km/h top speed offers us a sea of sensations. Comfortable seat, tires in good condition and a good steering wheel. What more do you want? Let’s race!
Our best lap record is 46,120, do you dare to try to beat it?
Race format: Karting Navarra offers several race formats, Sprint, Mini Endurance, Endurance, Pack GP and Extreme GP Companies. In our case we decided for the GP Pack, possibly one of the most extended formats in karting, which one do you prefer?
The “Pack GP” format offered by Karting Navarra is similar to that of many other circuits, a format widely used by groups in which an authentic speed competition is simulated in 3 rounds, free practice (10 minutes), qualifying (10 minutes) and finally the long-awaited race of 12 laps. Before entering the track, the briefing (anglicism that means letter or report and that in the motor sector means preparation strategy), is here where the drivers are informed of the characteristics of the track, how to act with different flags and many other tips to apply on track. After concluding the race we return to the briefing room for the awards ceremony, a great souvenir to take home and that will remain for posterity.
Although this time we were 12 pilots, the GP Pack of the Navarra circuit allows up to 15 pilots, remember that the more competitors the more friction, more overtaking and in conclusion more fun. Duration of the GP Pack: 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately.
Facilities: The Karting Navarra circuit shares some of its facilities with the speed circuit of Navarra, a professional circuit capable of hosting authentic GP2 or Superbike races among many other formats. It is worth mentioning the grandstands, which, although they are in the direction of the speed circuit, allow us to enjoy the karting races from the heights.
Safety: More than one of us ended up in the arms of the tires and safety elements that surround the circuit without suffering any damage (we cannot say the same about the karts). Undoubtedly, a very important feature that we must take into account when selecting a karting circuit, safety first and foremost.
As is logical, in addition to the safety elements that surround the circuit, karting navarra gives us helmets of all sizes, remember, the helmet should not hurt us and must be adjusted to our head, without being loose. Additionally, and upon payment of 5 €, we offer the possibility of wearing a diver, although, as they recommend and we could check the diver is unnecessary. Remember that the price of this activity includes accident insurance.
Attention: The attention given by Sergio and the rest of the people at karting Navarra was really good, ask them for advice and any other questions you may have!
Price: 65€. A price according to the service provided, a price similar to many other karting circuits.
TurismoVasco Tiketa: The small details (trophies, briefing room, podium…) together with the great karting circuit and the attention given ended up with our “TurismoVasco Tiketa” accreditation in the Karting Navarra establishment, a seal of quality that certifies it as one of the best circuits in its specialty.
Although on this occasion we only enjoyed the karting circuit of the Navarra Circuit, we do not rule out talking about the other experiences offered by this circuit in the not too distant future. Stay tuned to our social networks!
