And it is here, in this humble village, where we find Hilarriak, one of the most striking museums \/ cemeteries of Navarra. In this cemetery, more than 30 medieval stelae have been located, studied and enhanced. A space that shows us the life of each of the people buried here through the study of the engravings on their stelae. An environment of great natural value, which given its proximity to the old arms factory of Eugi, can help us to complete our visit to this historic enclave of Navarra. This factory was built in the 18th century over an old forge taking advantage of the incredible natural resources of the area (iron, wood, water&#8230;). We must say that this arms factory was built as an alternative to the exploitation that existed in Eugi. It is here, next to this monumental complex, where we find multiple information panels that highlight the value of this space where more than 500 people lived. <a href=\"https:\/\/turismovasco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/fabrica-de-armas-de-eugi-navarra.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-18192\" src=\"https:\/\/turismovasco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/fabrica-de-armas-de-eugi-navarra-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"eugi arms factory, Navarrese Pyrenees\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" srcset=\"https:\/\/turismovasco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/fabrica-de-armas-de-eugi-navarra.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/turismovasco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/fabrica-de-armas-de-eugi-navarra-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 618px) 100vw, 618px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>H\u00f3rreos of the Pyrenean valleys<\/strong>: H\u00f3rreos are very common in this area of Navarra, especially in the Aezkoa Valley, where 15 of the 22 h\u00f3rreos declared of Cultural Interest by the Government of Navarra are concentrated. These structures were built centuries ago with the sole purpose of storing cereal safe from rodents and the high humidity in this mountainous area of Navarra. In order to reach this incredible natural enclave, we must head towards the Orbaitzeta arms factory and then head towards the Azpegi pass. Once at this point, we must take a narrow road that turns to the right until we get to a place where a family makes its impressive artisan cheese. From here we must continue walking. Be very careful, especially on rainy and foggy days. The path is slippery and narrow. A family route, recommended by Maitina, led us to know really impressive, magical spaces. This route is known as Baratza Bidea or Route of the Maquis. Examples of this are structures such as the Medieval Bridge of Aoiz or the church of Santa Maria de Arce. 2 constructions, which, located in the quiet and impressive Arce Valley give us one more reason to know this impressive place. The medieval bridge of Aoiz is one of the most important medieval bridges in Navarra. According to different writings, this bridge that allows us to cross the river Irati, was built in the 14th century. A work of art that has been the target of various attacks throughout history.
