About 40 kilometers from Vitoria Gasteiz. These waterfalls are one of the great attractions of the Sierra de Entzia. Some waterfalls, which encourage us to make a brief but intense route between beech and oak forests. A space of great beauty, which we recommend you to do in any getaway to the province of Araba. The secret of these waterfalls lies in the spring that springs from the subsoil giving life to the watercourse that descends between the Tobas (porous rocks formed by calcium carbonate). From the right side of the square, a street that as we advance becomes a forest track that takes us to the old mill of Andoin. To less than 500 meters, we find a metallic barrier that we must pass. Remember to close it behind you. There are vertical signposts that indicate the way to follow for almost the entire route. In any case, remember that we are in front of a local path, its vertical and horizontal signaling is blue. Unfortunately, during the rainy season, the access is very slippery, so be careful. Although the beauty of the route lies (in part) in the forests that accompany us during the ascent, we must point out that the waterfalls are undoubtedly the great attraction of the route that we propose today. This series of waterfalls are formed by a limestone (tuff) that is created by the calcium carbonate contained in the groundwater that flows from the subsoil of the Sierra de Entzia.
