The Meaztegi restaurant is located in the historical surroundings of the grove, near the mining area, close to the natural environment of Pe\u00f1as Negras and a stone’s throw from the magnificent Meaztegi golf course. History, nature and leisure united in a single restaurant. <\/h2>\n

In order to explain our opinion about the restaurant meaztegi we will divide the article into 2 sections or sections, its location and environment<\/strong> on the one hand and its gastronomy<\/strong> on the other.<\/p>\n

Location and surroundings:<\/strong> The Meaztegi restaurant, located in the clubhouse of the golf course of the same name, has extensive experience in both weddings and major sporting events.<\/p>\n

Its main attraction is its environment, the grove, an environment enjoyed daily by hundreds of Biscayans practicing all kinds of outdoor sports, from mountain biking to climbing or golf, a very wide range to choose from. The grove was one of the largest mining areas of Bizkaia, today, this mining area has been converted into a large leisure area full of small details or sculptures that dot the landscape. Examples of these sculptures or details are the railway wagons in the main traffic circle of the grove or the sculptures divided by the park near the parking lot of the grove, small works of art that recall what once was this town and its surroundings. <\/p>\n

\"Meaztegi<\/a>

Meaztegi Golf Course<\/p><\/div>\n

Just 20 minutes from the restaurant meaztegi we can find two great jewels of Bizkaia tourism, on the one hand one of the largest collections of Rolls-Royce in the world, the Loizaga tower<\/a> and on the other hand an enclave that represents part of the history of our territory, the forge Pobal<\/a>, two places that we recommend to visit without any doubt. If these two points are not enough we invite you to visit the mining museum or to enjoy the nature of the Basque Country. Another 20 minutes away we can find the city of Bilbao, a special city, where you can enjoy the culture and traditions of the Basque Country in its purest form. <\/p>\n

We can reach the grove by public or private transport, among the public transport we highlight the funicular, one of the three funiculars in the Basque Country<\/a>, a transport unknown to many and that the little ones of the house are excited to get on. As you can see a privileged enclave to spend the day. <\/p>\n

Gastronomy: <\/strong>Although the restaurant meaztegi stands out for the organization of big events, from www.turismovasco.com<\/a> we wanted to taste its weekend menu, a simple but correct menu of which we highlight its homemade desserts and the detail of the appetizer of the house.<\/p>\n
