La Ribera Restaurant, a restaurant with a luxurious location<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The restaurant La Ribera offers us several gastronomic offers to enjoy overlooking the estuary of Bilbao. Of the options offered, two of them caught our attention, the basic menu and “your purchase”, the basic menu is the one we had the pleasure to try and we are going to talk about in the following lines, while “your purchase” is a modality that the restaurant has that consists of making purchases in any market stall of the riverbank and they cook them for us, this modality we have pending to try. <\/p>\n

The menu: <\/strong>After tasting it in person we can speak of traditional Basque Country cuisine with certain touches of modern cuisine. Except for some details that may be more or less to the taste of the diner (such as the temperature of some dishes and the degree of salt in them) we can summarize that the restaurant La Ribera served us dishes with good presentation and better quality, 2 things that we value very much in turismovasco.com. The attention we received was adequate, correct, without any kind of reproach to make, therefore, we eliminated from our minds all those bad reviews we had heard about the restaurant La Ribera in terms of treatment and food. <\/p>\n

The price: <\/strong>It should be noted that they do not serve daily menu, so we opted for the basic menu offered with a price of 20 euros, at this price we must add the price of the drink that we want to consume, in our case a good txakoli of Itsasmendi wineries. The quality-price ratio is not bad but perhaps a little expensive for those looking for a menu of the day. <\/p>\n

As a summary we can say that it is a restaurant where you can taste high quality dishes, with good views and better location, although the price may be a little expensive for those looking for a daily menu in the old town of Bilbao.<\/p>\n
