The main building tells the story of the golden age of Bizkaia, a time when high class tourists visited the town on the advice of their personal doctors to &#8220;take the waters of the Cantabrian Sea&#8221;. We were both surprised by the price of their menu of the day, 14,5\u20ac VAT included, a price that, being a 4 star hotel, catches the attention of everyone who sees it. But, you may think, what about the weak points? If we have to draw draw drawbacks to the Palacio de Oriol hotel, we only find one, the proximity to the train tracks, a weakness that is being addressed with double glazed windows.
