A sandy beach of fine sand, which, protected by large cliffs, has become the perfect place for sports such as paragliding or surfing. Among the 750 meters of length of &#8220;La Salvaje&#8221; we find a dune area that has been fenced to protect this special space. Next to it, we find some of the services that this sandy area has. We must indicate that on the left side of this beach nudism is practiced. An annual event, which has a good number of followers. It is a small cove. A wild space, which, away from the urban center of Sopela, attracts thousands of surfers to its vicinity. As you can see in the card below, Me\u00f1akoz is the smallest beach in the town, also one of the least crowded. Neither lifeguards, nor bathrooms, nor official parking. As we have said, it is a quiet space. A nudist beach, located between the towns of Sopela and Barrika, represents an alternative beach to all those mentioned above. Between the coastal towns of Getxo and Barrika. An ideal location for those people who want to know the capital of Bizkaia and enjoy the incredible beaches of our coast. All the beaches of Sopela are located in a coastal stretch of only 2 kilometers, with hardly any space in between. The only exception is the beach of Me\u00f1akoz. This allows us to move around all of the aforementioned beaches without wasting a lot of time in traveling. A fact that helps us to enjoy these beaches for longer. Therefore, if you decide to access by private transport to any of the beaches of Sopela, we recommend that you remember to pay the OTA if you do not want to find any surprises when you return. In any case, there are several possibilities. Here is a brief summary of how to get to the beaches of Sopela.  <\/p>\n<div class=\"box shadow  \"><div class=\"box-inner-block\"><i class=\"fa tie-shortcode-boxicon\"><\/i>\n            \n<div class=\"starlist tie-list-shortcode\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Private transport<\/strong>: As we have already indicated, if you opt for this type of transport you will have to pay the corresponding amount to the OTA. On the other hand, if you want to complete the visit to these Basque sandy beaches with a visit to a winery, the use of private transport is the best option to reach the rural corners of the interior. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Public transport<\/strong>: The best public transport to get to Sopela are Metro Bilbao and Bizkaibus (the public bus service of Bizkaia). Although if we had to choose between one of them, we would clearly choose the metro. The metro stops that we find near the beaches are those of Larrabasterra and Sopela.
