With Butroi, they took the step of professionalization, a necessary step, to which they accompanied the traditions and processes that their ancestors have used for decades, thus obtaining a balance between tradition and innovation. As you can see, Bodega Butroi is a young but very experienced winery, since, of the four families that make up this project, three were Txakoli producers and the fourth was a winegrower, passion and dedication among vineyards.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/turismovasco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Logotipo-Bodega-Butroi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8754\" src=\"http:\/\/turismovasco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Logotipo-Bodega-Butroi-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Butroi Winery Logo\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" srcset=\"https:\/\/turismovasco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Logotipo-Bodega-Butroi-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/turismovasco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Logotipo-Bodega-Butroi-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 618px) 100vw, 618px\" \/><\/a>Created in 2013, this Biscayan winery owes its name to the river that runs through the town, the Butroi River, a name that will also be familiar to you because of the Butron Castle, a building located in the same municipality and well worth a visit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vineyards<\/strong>: Scattered throughout the municipalities of Zamudio, Gatika, Lezama and Larrabetzu, in the region of Uribe, we find the vineyards of Bodega Butroi, a Txakoli, which has burst with force in the sector. Adding all the plots mentioned above, Butroi has approximately 14 hectares of vineyards, most of them in the Txorierri valley. In our case, we started with a small introduction in front of the winery, to then go on to tour the facilities and finish tasting some of the txakolis they produce. Although the winery is known for the Txakoli that bears its name, we should not forget the wines that each of them produced before their merger, and, represented by their wines, all 3 continue to have a strong presence in the sector. Txakoli is a wine of the year, yes, but like everything in this life, txakoli must also evolve. Remember that txakoli was a wine made by hand at home, for those at home, etxekoa (the home wine in Basque), of a rather low quality, a wine that today has evolved to become one of the best in the world, endorsed by great world experts.
