Discover one of the most traditional sports of the Basque Country in the building that is called to be the center of the Basque Pelota, the Fronton Bizkaia.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Basque pelota is one of the most popular sports in the Basque Country and the Bizkaia Fronton, responds to the demand of the people of Bizkaia to have a fronton worthy of hosting major championships of this sport in the capital of Bizkaia. Created with the idea of becoming one of the most important frontons in the world, the Bizkaia Fronton has a capacity of 3,000 seats, which makes it hold the title of “short fronton with the largest capacity in the Basque Country”. <\/span><\/p>\n

Facilities: <\/span><\/strong>The Bizkaia Fronton not only houses the fronton where pelota matches are played, but also has a trinquete for 458 spectators, a parking lot below ground level, sports medicine and biomechanics services, a press room, a warm-up fronton, an infirmary and areas for catering. In addition, this large building with a floor area of 24,000 square meters and 10,000 square meters of floor space will be used as a sports center. <\/span>floors (three of which are parking) house the headquarters of the sports federations of Bizkaia<\/span>.<\/p>\n
